The Young Americans' public image is considerably more wholesome and less rebelious than that of the other leading teenager superheroes group, Teenage Kix. A few members have on time graduated to The Seven.
Young Americans are one of four lesser superhero groups besides the Seven to have a contract with Vought, the others being Payback, the G-Men, and Teenage Kix.
