Season Two[]

Tommy Peterson is an ordinary citizen with a fairly routine life. He listens daily to Stormfront and the news, caring for his mom, pass by one of his neighbors every morning, and goes to the local grocery store where one of the employees is of foreign origin. As Stormfront's speeches become more militaristic and nationalist, Tommy becomes increasingly more radicalized and suspicious of others, particularly the employee. One day he sees a glint in the eyes of the employee, Kuldeep Singh, and convinces himself that he is one of the notorious undercover supe-terrorists that Stormfront warns about in her speeches.

Later he returns to the grocery store, this time armed. In his headphones plays one of the speeches of Stormfront which gives him the courage to take action. He threatens the employee with his weapon accusing him of being a supe-terrorist. Believing him to be bulletproof, Tommy shoots Kuldeep dead. After shooting him in the head he realizes how he has been misled.

It can be assumed that Tommy is arrested for murder after the incident.

Trivia[]

  • The opening montage is a horrific demonstration of an isolated young man being radicalized by far-right stochastic terrorism - that is, dehumanizing rhetoric designed to provoke violence without openly calling for it.
  • The glint that Tommy saw in Kuldeep's eyes seems to have come from a car headlight.
