Development[]
- Production was set to start a few weeks after March 2024, but was delayed indefinitely after the untimely death of Chance Perdomo.[3]
- On May 5, 2024, the official Gen V Instagram account confirmed that Andre Anderson would not be recast. Instead, they would recraft Season 2's proposed storyline while honoring Chance's legacy.[4]
- Season 2 began filming on May 13 in Toronto, Canada.[5]

- Thomas Schnauz, a television producer and writer known for his work on Breaking Bad, Better Call Saul, and The X-Files, has been revealed as a writer for Season 2 of Gen V.[6]
- Despite Golden Boy's death in Season One, Patrick Schwarzenegger has displayed interest in reprising his role for Season Two.[7]
