Season Summary[]
As America adjusts to Homelander's reign, at Godolkin University, the new Dean preaches a course to make students more powerful than ever. Cate and Sam are heroes, while Marie, Jordan, and Emma return to class, after months of trauma. War is brewing between Humans and Supes and our crew learns of a secret program from the 60s that may be significant to today. And, somehow, Marie is a part of it.

Development[]
- The second season of Gen V was officially announced a week prior to the season one finale.[1]
- Production was set to start a few weeks after March 2024, but was delayed indefinitely after the untimely death of Chance Perdomo.[2]
- On May 5, 2024, the official Gen V Instagram account confirmed that Andre Anderson would not be recast. Instead, they would recraft Season 2's proposed storyline while honoring Chance's legacy.[3]
- Season 2 began filming on May 13 in Toronto, Canada.[4]
Trivia[]
- Thomas Schnauz, a television producer and writer known for his work on Breaking Bad, Better Call Saul, and The X-Files, was revealed as a writer for Season 2 of Gen V.[5]
- Despite Golden Boy's death in Season One, Patrick Schwarzenegger displayed interest in reprising his role for Season Two.[6] However, he wasn't cast.
