Look, I'm trying to say I'm sorry. Your eating disorder is your truth, and... (...) I had no right to co-opt your story. Okay? I apologize. (...) I want everyone to know how sorry I am.

Justine Garcia is a supporting antagonist in the Amazon series Gen V, a spin-off series of The Boys. She is a student at Godolkin University.

Background[]

Justine was born in the early 2000s, and shortly after her birth, her parents accepted Vought's offer to inject her with Compound V, subsequently transforming her into a Supe and granting her superhuman powers and abilities.

As a teenager, Justine started a Youtube channel called "Spillin' The Tea," where she'd gossip about others. Shortly after, Justine became an actress and typically became typecast, appearing in multiple TV shows, such as Pretty/Deadly, Babysitter School, and Teacher's Pet. Sometime later, Justine attended Termite and Bryan Singer's massive parties in the Hollywood Hills, which she believed to be gross.

In 2023, as a young adult, Justine decided to pursue her career as an influencer and actress, furthering her education by enrolling at Godolkin University and majoring in performing arts at the Crimson Countess School of Performing Arts. As a freshman, she became roommates with Harper, becoming friends with her.

Justine and Harper go live on Instagram to tell their viewers that Godolkin University is on lockdown, which has trapped them in their dorm room. An alarm then goes off, emitting a high-frequency noise that stuns Supes all over the campus.

Shortly after, the alarm is destroyed, and Justine tries to connect to the WiFi but fails, causing her to panic and yell at Harper in horror over her Instagram live ending.

Powers and Abilities[]

Powers[]

  • Regenerative Healing Factor: Justine possesses a sufficient regenerative healing factor, allowing her to recuperate from fatal injuries that would kill humans and Supes. She recovered from a punch by Jordan Li that broke her jaw.
    • Pain Suppression:

Justine possesses beneficial pain-suppressing abilities, meaning she is resistant to feeling physical pain, exhibiting minimal to no suffering. This allows Justine to endure and shrug off specific super-powered attacks.
  • Superhuman Hearing: Justine possesses superhuman hearing, allowing her to hear better than humans. Like all Supes, she can hear higher frequencies that humans cannot.[1]

Weaknesses[]

Biological[]

  • Brute Force/Limited Durability: Despite being more durable than humans, Justine can still be stunned, knocked unconscious, and killed by extreme force.
  • High Frequencies: Due to being a Supe, Justine is susceptible to high frequencies. When a high frequency is playing, it can induce immense pain and temporarily neutralize her. During a massacre at Godolkin University, Justine is momentarily neutralized through the use of a high-frequency alarm.

Trivia[]

  • In the script for God U., Justine is described as "18, born to act, you probably recognize her from the Vought+ teen thriller “Pretty/Deadly.”"
