Ironcast/Comics was a character in the animated anthology series, The Boys Presents: Diabolical.

The Boys Presents: Diabolical[]

Ironcast was one of the superheroes of Vought-American, who isn't a member of The Seven. He was a towering, and comically fat superhero, who has presumably been targeted by The Boys due to his habit of drinking the blood of terminally ill and dying children as a form of treatment for his erectile dysfunction. He was killed in 2007, when the Great Wide Wonder flew through his stomach at a recorded speed of Mach 2 while under the effects of heroin enema that was spiked with an unknown chemical by the Boys.

  • Organic Metal Skin: His skin was made of metal, which presumably allowed him to survive most conventional weapons.
    • Superhuman Durability: Due to him having metal skin, he has enhanced durability, although it is not powerful enough to protect him from Great Wide Wonder when he flew through his stomach at Mach 2. He is so tough that when Great Wide Wonder killed him, he ended up dying in the process too, even though Wide Wonder could move at mach speeds unharmed.
      • Fire Resistance: During the initiation, he is shown holding a ring on fire without being injured, despite the ring likely being very hot.
    • Superhuman Strength: Due to him having metal skin, Ironcast is exceptionally strong. He displayed enhanced strength when he lifted a giant metal ring without any effort.

  • Extreme Brute Force: His metal skin was very weak to superhuman momentum as shown when the Great Wide Wonder flew through his stomach at a recorded speed of Mach 2.

  • Ironcast is likely based on Ironclad (a villainous counterpart to the Fantastic Four's Thing) & Colossus from Marvel Comics.
  • Despite his appearance in an Animated Anthology, the episode actually takes place in the universe of original comic, still counting as a comic book character.
