Was it Ironcast who killed himself the morning after you interrogated him?

Ironcast is a mentioned character in the Amazon series Gen V, a spin-off series of The Boys. He is a superhero with metal skin.

Background[]

Shortly after Ironcast's birth, his parents accepted Vought's offer to inject him with Compound V, subsequently transforming him into a Supe and granting him superhuman powers and abilities.

While Indira Shetty confronts Tek Knight, she brings up his formidable reputation and mentions Ironcast's death after Tek Knight's interrogation of him.

Powers and Abilities[]

Powers[]

  • Organic Metal Skin: Ironcast possesses organic metal skin abilities, allowing his body to be covered in metal skin.
    • Superhuman Durability: As a result of Ironcast's metal skin he possesses superhuman durability, making him more durable than humans and some Supes.
  • Superhuman Hearing: Ironcast possesses superhuman hearing, allowing him to hear better than humans. Like all Supes, he can hear higher frequencies that humans cannot.[1]

Weaknesses[]

Biological[]

  • Brute Force/Limited Durability: Despite being more durable than humans, Ironcast can still be stunned, knocked unconscious, and killed by extreme force. He is killed by Tek Knight.
  • High Frequencies: Due to being a Supe, Ironcast is susceptible to high frequencies. When a high frequency is playing, it can induce immense pain and temporarily neutralize him.

Trivia[]

  • Ironcast is likely a parody of Marvel's Ironclad, or Colossus. (Both characters are large men with bodies of metal).
