Gunpowder is a minor antagonist in the controversial comic book series The Boys. He is a superhero and member of the corrupt team Teenage Kix.

Gunpowder is one of the many people who had been exposed to Compound V as kids and developed superpowers (not shown during the storyline) as a consequence. Still a teenager, he joined the team Teenage Kix as a gun-toting superhero. He is said to be a valuable member of the team due to many NRA sponsorships.
As a public figure, he appeared as a hero; in his private life, he could not care less about doing something good with his powers. He indulged in all sorts of vices, from drug abuse to massive orgies with his teammates. Secretly, Gunpowder had prostitutes perform anal play on him with his own guns. He would go as far as licking the feces off his lubed-up gun.
Someone had been taken pictures of the Teenage Kix in intimate moments, documenting their illegal and sick perversions, and threatened to make everything public if one of them did not admit in front of the world their “private shame”. Gunpowder managed to keep his fetishes secret, as Shout Out was voted by everyone to be outed as gay.
A secret informer, then, revealed the identity of the blackmailer to the Teenage Kix: The Boys. Knowing the identity of his attackers, Gunpowder followed his team on the streets to confront The Boys openly and was seriously injured as a result. His last appearance was in fellow teammate Blarney Cock's funeral, who died during the failed attack.
