Cold Snap is a minor character in the Dynamite Entertainment adult comic book series The Boys. He was the leader of G-Force.
Background[]
Cold Snap was among the first unfortunate individuals abducted by cult leader and serial child rapist John Godolkin during his childhood. He became just one of the numerous victims enticed to Godolkin's mansion with the promise of forming his self-proclaimed superhero teams. After being exposed to Compound V, he acquired superhuman abilities and eventually became a member of Godolkin's main team known as G-Men. He would eventually be reassigned to lead G-Force.
Later, Cold Snap, along with his teammates, meets his demise when Vought-American deems Godolkin and the G-Teams a public relations liability and dispatches heavily armed Red River operatives to attack their mansion.

- Cold Snap is an obvious parody of Marvel Comics' Iceman, one of the original members of the X-Men.
- The costume likely references Captain Cold. Pupil-less eyes are sometimes seen in other cold-themed characters: similar examples include Polar Boy from DC, or Crystal Frost/Killer Frost with red eyes from Marvel. The glowing blue eyes from the Amazon TV series could be a reference to Mr. Freeze, specifically from the Gotham TV series, while just blue ones could be a reference to almost anyone, like Ice, Glacier, Blizzard, and others. Icicle has a goatee that resembles ice.
- Coincidentally, the design resembles Peter Maximoff/Quicksilver from X-Men: Days of Future Past, but that can't be a reference since The Boys came out about 6 years earlier.
