Capes for Christ is a Supe Christian organization affiliated with Vought.
History[]
The Boys[]
In the show, Capes for Christ is led by Ezekiel. Under his leadership, the organization preaches fundamentalist Christianity, promoting traditionalist values and denouncing homosexuality. Prior to the public revelation of Compound V, Capes for Christ promoted the belief that superheroes were chosen by God to be humanity's protectors and prophets and that Jesus was a supe himself. The organization has a youth organization whose members would attend the Capes for Christ Bible Camp where they can take part in an annual Passion Play. One such year, Gecko portrayed Jesus, Big Game portrayed Pontius Pilate, and Starlight portrayed Mary.
Every year, Capes for Christ held an exposition called Believe Expo, which featured live music and religious sermons. The expo offered a platinum membership, in which members would pay a large sum to have a private meet up with Ezekiel, and have themselves rebaptized by Homelander himself. The organization also helped promote of number of Vought International's charities, most notably Samaritan's Embrace, which was being used to ship Compound V to hospitals across the United States.
