In "The Whole Truth", Sam Riordan hallucinated an episode of Avenue V where Jason Ritter and a puppet of The Deep were talking to him.
The Boys[]
In "The Insider", Ryan Butcher was ordered by Homelander to star in the Avenue V Christmas Special. After a song by puppet versions of the Seven sing a song about who to trust, Ryan makes a speech about the meaning of family and walks off the set much to the dismay of Ashley Barrett and Homelander.

- Avenue V is a parody of both Sesame Street and Avenue Q.
- Puppets pop up a handful of times throughout the trailer for Gen V, covered in blood and doing crime, reminiscent of Angel's in-universe show Smile Time.
