  • Eric Kripke confirmed in July 2022 that Nathan Mitchell will portray a replacement Black Noir in season 4; describing the character as a "whole new" and "really interesting and hilarious character". He also confirmed that season 4 will air in 2023 when decided.
  • Figuring out a way to save Ryan’s soul is a key priority for Butcher in season 4, with Kripke saying it’s like Kramer v. Kramer combined with Avengers: Endgame.

    • Eric Kripke also said that Gen V would tie into the events of Season 3 and things would feed into Season 4.
  • This season will introduce multiple new heroes, Firecracker, Sister Sage, Tek Knight, Laddio, Webweaver, and Splinter.
  • Sam Riordan and Cate Dunlap from Gen V are rumored to make an appearance this season.
  • It takes place a few days or a month after the Gen V finale.
